Het is soms best moeilijk om positief te blijven als je je zo rot voelt als ik de laatste dagen. Werkdagen zijn slopend. De uitslagen van de bloedtesten zijn er nog steeds niet, mijn huisartsenpraktijk blijkt een betalingsachterstand te hebben bij de bloedprikinstantie... Maar omdat ik vanmorgen bijna niet meer kan staan van de pijn in mijn zij, maak ik toch een afspraak met de huisarts. Ik sta echter zo weer buiten. Mijn maag is geïrriteerd, ik krijg medicatie en verder eigenlijk geen informatie. De dokter lijkt haast te hebben en gaat niet in op mijn vele vragen. Als ik weer buiten sta voel ik me niet serieus genomen en chagrijnig.

Maar Leeuwtje neemt me mee naar de stad, ik mag een verjaardagscadeau uitzoeken! Woohooo! Ik ben over 2 weken pas jarig, maar morgen is het feest!  Ik kleed me netjes aan, geen chillpak vandaag, op hakken voel ik me meteen al een stuk beter! En in de stad vind ik een prachtig, prachtig cadeau! Het zit nu nog ingepakt, morgen is het pas echt van mij... En dan zal ik ook hier onthullen wat het is.

En zo zit ik weer in de positieve vibe! Zin in het feest van morgen. Ik heb nog geen idee wat ik aan ga trekken, maar ik heb nog de hele avond om voor de spiegel te staan. Het wordt misschien een rustig feest, voor mij een alcoholvrij feest, maar vooral vast een geweldig feest! It's my birthday after all!

Sometimes it's quite difficult to stay positive when you feel so bad like I did the last days. Workdays are exhausting. The results of blood tests are still not there. But because I could hardly stand the pain in my stomach this morning, I made an appointment with the doctor today. However, I left with nothing. My stomach is irritated, I got medication and no further information. The doctor seems in a hurry and does not address my many questions. When I'm out again I feel not taken seriously and cranky.

But Leeuwtje takes me into town, I may pick a birthday present! Woohooo! My birthday is in about 2 weeks, but tomorrow is the feast! I dress nicely, in heels I feel a lot better right away! In town I find a wonderful, wonderful gift! It's still packed, it's really mine by tomorrow ... And then I will reveal it here. And so I am back in the positive vibe! Fancy the party tomorrow. I have no idea what I'm wearing, but I've got all night to stand before the mirror! Perhaps it will be a serene celebration, an alcohol-free celebration for me, but it will be a great party! It's my birthday after all!
